The Centre of Social and Psychological Sciences SAS is organising a scientific conference Research for Social Psychological Sciences (ReSPS), which will take place in Smolenice (Slovakia) on Tuesday April 9, 2024.
Two new studies were published on the website of the CSPS SAS Institute for Forecasting, the authors of which are researchers Dušana Dokupilová and Martina Repíková.
The aim of the studies was to propose possible settings of national policies, but also the inevitable change in the behavior of the population, which would lead to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The authors offer a scenario of measures by which Slovakia would become a carbon-neutral country by 2050.
On January 17th, 2024, the Final Conference and Upscaling Event of the INFO-POW project was held at the headquarters of the European Labour Authority in Bratislava. In the INFO-POW project, challenges and needs of companies in the construction sector in relation to accessing and using information on the posting of workers were assessed and identified. The research project provides insights into how posting and user companies seek and use information, and the impact on their ability to meet their posting obligations.
On 13th October 2023, our colleagues Ivana Studená, Miroslav Štefánik and Lucia Kováčová participated in the final conference of the ISKILL project: Industrial Relations and Social Dialogue to Kick-In Inclusive Adult Learning at the premises of Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS), a leader of the project.
On 28th September 2023, the Institute for Forecasting hosted the final seminar Adult learning in the workplace: the need for new skills, which was part of the ISKILL project entitled. The aim of this meeting was to present the results of the research project ISKILL: Industrial Relations and Social Dialogue to Kick-in Inclusive Adult Learning which was carried out by the team of the Institute.
